The Lost Year

Unfortunately, the 2020 Charity Golf Day had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

One Year On

The second Bayside Charity Golf Day in the new format was held on 27 May 2019. What a contrast to the first year. The weather was cold wet and windy. But this did not deter a full field of golfers enjoying their day out on one of the world’s great golf courses.

A New Start

October 1 2018 saw the start of a new charity event in Bayside and what a start it was.  A new partnership between the Black Rock Sports Auxiliary and Beaumaris Rotary created a new charity golf day in partnership with The Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

With 100 years experience between the two groups and combining the best elements of the previous separate days success was assured subject to the weather: and that was perfect.  The event was booked out with over 400 players turned out to enjoy the hospitality of the Club on the fairways and in the Clubhouse. A great start start to an event which will contribute so much to the Bayside community.

Next years event will be held on May 27 due to the President’s Cup so book early if you do not want to miss out.
